IT Operation Engineer

PROFIL

• Several years’ experience in IT operations or system administration
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, Hardening, Patch Management
• Strong security mindset: least privilege, patching, vulnerability remediation
• Deep expertise with Windows Server and good knowledge of Linux
• Experience with virtualization, backup/restore, and monitoring tools
• Solid troubleshooting skills across OS, applications, network, and hardware
• Scripting proficiency, ideally PowerShell (plus Bash for Linux environments

AUFGABEN

• Administer Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) including, service and resource management
• Operate and maintain Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO)
• Implement and maintain system hardening (CIS/BSI benchmarks, security baselines) using GPO, Ansible, DSC, or similar technologies
• Manage patching for servers, clients, and applications (WSUS/MECM/Intune, Linux repo tools) including scheduling, testing, and rollback
• Operate and support mission-critical infrastructure applications including service accounts, dependencies, logging, upgrades, and performance tuning
• Maintain monitoring and alerting systems (SCOM, Zabbix, PRTG, Prometheus, Grafana) including threshold definition and incident response
