Verification Engineer

PROFILE

• Completed technical training as an electrical or computer science engineer (ETH/TU/FH) or comparable training
•  Several years of professional experience in the railway industry
• Expertise in the area of validation, verification, functional safety or system engineering
• Knowledge of the relevant IEEE, UNISIG and EN standards (e.g. EN 50126, EN 50129)
• Ideally experience with train control systems
• Fluent in German and English
• Team player, independent, goal- and solution-orientated

TASKS

• Verification of specifications for our ETCS/ATP system integration project into the vehicle
• Review the requirements in relation to the intended environment and use
• Evaluate the conformity of the development process against the European standards including the assigned Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
• Verifying the correctness, consistency and appropriateness of test cases, executed tests and test tools
• Ensuring that all verification activities are performed according to EN standards
• Conducting installation inspections of the ETCS installation on site
• Provide approval and/or disagreement for the developed versions
